About

Born in Israel, Ruth lives and sculpts in Haifa.
She received her specialization in sculpting from some of the most renowned sculptors in Israel - Lelia David and Nira Raz.

Ruth’s sculpts using a technique in which a clay base is used as a model to create a bronze mold. Most of her creations take a realistic or figurative approach to different situations through a variety of poses. At the start of her career, Ruth’s sculptures had an abstract style, however shortly thereafter her style took on the figurative approach, which the majority of her sculptures embody today. Since her initial exposure to the art of sculpting, Ruth has created many pieces taking on variety of different themes and subjects.
The majority of Ruth’s works are inspired by different subjects that she identifies with: womanhood, relationships, family and others. When she is guided by means of her personal experiences, feelings and views, Ruth creates sculptures influenced by her love for humanity, coupled with warmth and intuitions.

Most of Ruth’s pieces are devoted to authentic figures that represent varying cultures from around the world. Her other pieces are influenced by members of her family and her day to day life.
